I am super excited to be heading to Southern Thailand in November on an exciting mission project!

A big part of my university experience has been with a Christian group on campus called Student Life. Through my involvement with Student Life, I’ve grown in my faith significantly and I’ve seen my desire and ability to share my faith with others increase. This semester I have had the privilege of personally seeing four people come to Christ on campus. It has been really special to be able to see these people make the decision to follow Jesus and to be able to walk alongside them as they begin their spiritual journeys. 

I’m keen to go to Thailand because there is a huge need for people in the country to hear about Jesus and I would be honoured to be able to play a part in filling this need. I also believe that this opportunity will further strengthen my relationship with the Lord and ignite my heart to continue to serve the Lord’s kingdom well into the future.

Thailand is a country of 65 million people, with 97% of its population Buddhist. Most Thai people have never had the chance to hear the gospel. We want to change that! We’ll be spending 6 weeks in Thailand partnering with the Student Life movement based at Prince of Songkla University (PSU) in Hat Yai and Thaksin University in Songkhla. We’ll be on campus running outreach events, sharing the gospel, following up new believers and connecting students we meet with the local ministry. I’m really excited to see what God will do.

To be able to go on this project I need to raise $7000 by the 4th of November. This will cover airfares, food, accommodation, transport, training materials and insurance etc, for the duration of the project. The best way to do this is to find a team of people who love the Lord, love the lost and are willing to partner with me through finances and prayer. I’m looking for people who will invest between $50­-500 (however any amount would be deeply appreciated). The donation qualifies for the ⅓ charitable donation rebate.
